Partner promotion for Napthens' residential property head

Sarah Barnes, head of the residential property team at Napthens solicitors, has been promoted to partner.

Joining Napthens in 2009, Sarah became head of the department in 2011, and manages an experienced team of property lawyers.

Recently Sarah has led the department through a significant period of growth with a number of new appointments. This, together with the further development of the case management system over the last 12 months, has given the team a competitive edge and increased efficiency.

The department was also named Regional Conveyancing Firm of the Year at the end of 2014, at the National Conveyancing Conference, an award judged by industry experts including The National Association of Estate Agents.

She said: “I take real pride in gaining promotion to partner with a law firm where hard work and dedication is recognised and rewarded.

“This is an exciting time to be working in the property sector. The market is steadily improving following a number of years of stagnation and we have been able to use the opportunities this presents to grow the department into one which works well together and puts the client at the centre of our service. “It’s been a busy time and I look forward to continuing to lead the Residential Property team to greater success in the years to come.”
