Ormskirk-based business telecoms provider Lake Technologies has marked more than 25 years in business with a full rebrand and cutting edge new website. The West Lancashire business enlisted the services of Preston-based digital consultant for an all-Lancastrian partnership that represents the very best in local enterprise success.

Lake Technologies provides state-of-the-art business phones and networks that are installed, supported and maintained by a dedicated team of consultants and technicians based out of their offices in Ormskirk, Lancashire. Thousands of businesses of all shapes and sizes, from small to medium enterprises through to blue chip corporations, have benefitted from their business telecoms solutions over the past quarter of a century.

Now, with the telecommunications industry wholeheartedly embracing the digital revolution, Lake has followed suit with the launch of a state-of-the-art new website and logo refresh. “The telecommunications industry has changed massively over the last 25 years,” said Pete Dobson, managing director at Lake Technologies. “We’ve seen several waves of new technology come in and our business has evolved and adapted along with it all.

“With the rise of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) technology – which essentially involves making and receiving audio and video calls over an internet connection – and the looming shut-down of the PSTN analogue phone lines in 2025, more and more businesses have been moving towards Cloud-based telephony solutions.

“Which has been great news for small and medium businesses that are now realising the major cost-savings and efficiencies they can make by switching to digital telecommunications. We’re proud to still be offering our business telecoms services after more than a quarter of a century in business, which is why we wanted to take this opportunity to freshen up our brand and website to reflect the increasingly digital landscape that we work in today.”

Having helped so many local businesses across the North West to connect with their customers, Lake Technologies turned its sights inwards towards making better connections with their own customers. Project managing their full digital makeover has been Preston-based freelance digital marketer and web developer, Martyn Bleasdale, founder and managing director of Airedale Digital.

Martyn said: “When Lake Technologies approached me to work on their website, I jumped at the chance to work with a fellow Lancashire business. It’s inspiring to see another local business that has achieved so much over the years and is still going strong. It was important to give them a website that not only reflects their digital expertise in the telecoms industry, but also their approachability and straight-talking approach.

“I think we’ve achieved that with a really clean new logo and a modern, user-friendly website that both speak volumes about Lake Technologies’ professionalism and state-of-the-art solutions. I’ve gained a lot of insights from working with them and will definitely be looking to digitise my own communications even further. Hopefully, this rebrand can be the springboard for another successful 25 years of business for them!”

Lake Technologies delivers cost-effective business telecoms products and services for local businesses across the North West of England. Their tailor-made solutions cover everything from business telephone systems to business broadband, business mobile, Cloud-based hosted telephony, SIP trunks and contact centre services. All of which is backed by incredible customer service and responsive technical support.
