Oliver to lead East Lancs office

Oliver McCann, partner at Napthens solicitors, has been named head of the firm’s East Lancashire office.

The experienced employment law expert acts for businesses of all sizes and sectors, from large PLCs to education establishments and charities.

Oliver already plays an active role in the local business community, and among other roles is a non-executive director at Training 2000.

In his new role as head of the East Lancashire office, based in Blackburn, he will lead the Napthens team in developing the profile of the firm.

Oliver said: “The many years I have spent working in East Lancashire have given me a great insight into what concerns the business community and how, as a firm, Napthens is best placed to help clients.

“Over recent years the team in East Lancashire has grown significantly as demand for high quality commercial and personal legal services increases. Last year we saw a 30 per cent increase in turnover, clearly demonstrating our strong position. “In that time we have also brought many talented lawyers to the firm meaning we are well placed to offer a range of specialist services provided by legal experts at a local level.”
