Nybble are delighted to announce that managing director Ram Gupta has joined the Board of Governors for Blackburn College.

Ram stated: “I am excited to be given this opportunity to join Blackburn College’s Board of Governors and I am looking forward to getting started and playing my part in leading the College’s strategic vision alongside my fellow Governors. Blackburn College is embedded in the heart of our community and is the town’s central education hub.”

Ram’s addition is a huge plus for the college, as through Nybble he will bring top-class IT knowledge and guidance to the college. This will ensure Blackburn College stay ahead of the curve and fully up to date with top of the range technology to allow their students to continue to excel in their studies.

Dr Fazal Dad, principal and chief executive at Blackburn College, said: “I am delighted to welcome Ram to Blackburn College and our Board of Governors and I am excited to be working with him on many forward-thinking plans for the College’s future.”

This is not the first time that Ram and Nybble have reached out to support the local community, as they are often eager to get involved and offer a helping hand as frequently as possible.

A recent endeavour of Nybble’s has been teaming up with Blackburn Youth Zone and Secret Santa CIC to combat digital poverty in educational settings, helping massively in the local area by taking the time to donate dozens of laptops to play their part in ensuring all children get a fair shot at high-quality education, regardless of their financial situation.

Working in an industry which is looking to give younger people a platform for a promising future is also a subject Ram has proven time and time again he is passionate about. Through Nybble, Ram has shown his belief in giving youth a chance to break into a new career. Nybble have a track record of hiring hungry, promising young staff to allow them the chance that many businesses will not hand them, giving them the opportunity to gather the experience they need a start a career in the IT industry.
