Nugent Santé promotes two to board

Preston-based Nugent Santé has promoted Rob Rigby and Alison Wignall to its board of directors.

Rob was formerly head of sales and is now director of sales at the health insurance and wellbeing specialist. Alison has been promoted from head of operations to director of operations.

The pair now each holds an equity stake in Nugent Santé, part of the wider The Santé Group.

Paul Nugent, Santé Group chief executive, said: "Rob and Alison have been with the business since we started life in 2014 and have contributed significantly to the group's success.

"They both share a passion for driving the business forward and have been instrumental in putting working practices in place that have enabled Nugent Santé to evolve and become one of the leaders in its field.

"As a group, we've seen a dramatic increase in the way businesses are prioritising health and wellbeing as a central function to how an organisation operates. With this, we need to respond quickly to changes in how businesses look after their people and make sure we have the products, service, and infrastructure to support our clients. Rob and Alison have made sure this happens."

The Santé Group now employs 27 people at its Lancashire headquarters but will be expecting headcount to treble over the next five years.
