Lancaster based ecommerce specialist agency Nublue has been shortlisted for the prestigious Big Chip Awards 2017, in the Best B2B project category.
The shortlisted website, www.fuelfighter.co.uk was designed and built by Nublue for heating oil supply business Fuel Fighter. Fuel Fighter has been supplying fuel online for nearly a decade, through a small number of carefully selected, trusted, independent heating oil suppliers.They came to Nublue looking for a completely custom built and flexible website that would suit both their needs and those of their customers.
The new site was built in cake PHP - a rapid development framework that enables the creation of completely bespoke and unique systems. This allowed Nublue to offer Fuel Fighter flexible working solutions and better control over how orders are received and processed.The site was launched in January and results to date have been impressive, with increases in conversions, transactions and mobile use.
Nublue’s MD, Michael Ashworth said: “We are very proud of this project and thrilled to hear that this has been shortlisted for the Big Chip Awards. Looking forward to hearing the outcome in June”.The Big Chip Awards are run by Manchester Digital and are the longest running and largest digital awards outside of London. The awards ceremony takes place in Manchester on June 15th.
