Architectural design studio Not a Box, with clients across Lancashire, has put into place well thought out plans to ensure that its business as usual for its clients over the 4 week lockdown period, whilst observing the strict restrictions, and keeping staff and customers safe.

Despite the showroom being unexpectedly and temporarily closed, the forward-thinking business is working resourcefully to ensure minimum delay for customers who have construction, renovation or home enhancement projects on the go.

Not a Box Principal Designer, and Co-Founder Heather Bennani and her expert team will be conducting remote surveys of projects and sharing their expertise by connecting with home owners, architects and construction professionals via Skype and Facetime for ‘virtual’ consultations.

For customers purchasing interiors products online such as items from their bespoke rugs, lighting, luxury cushions and candles collections, the business will also be offering Covid-secure deliveries and click and collect to ensure that no customer is waiting on a bespoke furniture item or a finishing touches accessory to complete their desired look.

Heather explains: “Through honing our virtual consultations, and putting into place the secure delivery arrangements we are confident that our customers will receive what they require, as they require it – whether this being architectural design advice or a decorative interiors item.

“With the huge increase in home working this year, we have been very busy creating personalised storage solutions and spaces for customers to repurpose rooms, and define work spaces. We consequently have in production a number of bespoke custom-made cabinetry orders, as well as internal crittall-style door orders, so customers can encase areas within larger rooms - which is indicative of how many of us are now using the space within our homes very differently.”

Not a Box support home owners and interior designers in redesigning and enhancing spaces within their homes and commercial spaces, as well as offering the latest in contemporary interiors and bespoke finishes. The team offer a fusion of interconnecting styles, culminating in specific collections of cabinetry, steel doors and windows, lighting and interesting finishes for floors and walls with only the best porcelain tiles and bespoke artisan finishes - all designed, created and installed to work together or individually from their design studio.
