North West Finance Awards unveils shortlisted companies

The finalists for the North West Finance Awards have been revealed, including people from professionals from more than 50 companies of all sizes and across many businesses including retail, service, manufacturing, professional services and public sectors.

The awards, supported by Lancashire Business View, focus on individual and team effort at every level from purchase ledger star to finance director of the year, in all sizes of organisation.

Finalists have been selected from companies including Betfred, Scapa UK, Stobart Group, Marks and Spencer plc, 3663, Boohoo, TalkTalk, Trust Inns, Hydes Brewery, Shaws of Darwen, Baby Advent, OBAS UK, IFO plc.

Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner and Awards Evening on Thursday, September 27 – an evening full of fun, great food and, most importantly, celebration.

The event in 2011 had 495 tickets requests in just 10 days. Organiser Steve Crohill said: “This year, in response to overwhelming demand, we’re able to accommodate even more but I strongly recommend you don’t delay if you want to be there. Now in its third year, we have concrete evidence of the popularity of NWFA.”
