North Product Design creates the SOS Station

Fast growing Product Design agency North Product Design has created a flat pack, fully recyclable health and safety unit called the SOS Station.

The product can be assembled in less than 30 minutes and features all the necessary safety equipment needed for large warehouses, construction sites and heavy groundwork. Various combinations of products can be fitted to the back board and customised to each user's requirements.

The main panels can be interchanged with different colours to align with a particular company's branding or PPE colour requirements. EC Groundworks have secured a large order on the back of the project and interest in the product is expanding to a number of different industries and environments where employees are exposed to danger.

The SOS Station is constructed of durable HDPE and will not rot. It will replace existing wooden products, reducing maintenance costs over the life time of the product.

We worked closely with manufacturers and suppliers from the North West to reduce the carbon footprint of the product. As the product is constructed of HDPE it is 100% recyclable and the modular design allows broken or damaged components to be interchanged without replacing the entire product.

EC Groundworks have secured a number of large orders over the last few months and are in advanced discussions with a number of large National businesses to roll out the product across the UK.
