NLTG calls on businesses to offer work experience placements to students

North Lancs Training Group (NLTG), the Accrington-based training provider, is calling on East Lancashire businesses to offer work experience placements for their study programme learners.

NLTG is looking for high quality work placements for 16-18 year olds, who are currently enrolled on the training provider’s study programme in Accrington. The study programme offers an innovative curriculum and high-quality work experience opportunity, providing young people with the best possible support for the future by gaining practical skills and developing industry knowledge.

Businesses from a wide range of sectors are encouraged to enquire about offering a placement, including those in retail, administration, warehousing, child care, IT and many more. There is no cost to the employer, who will also be fully supported by NLTG throughout the placement. Work experience placements also offer other great employer benefits, such as the potential to recruit new talent for the business, as well as developing existing employees’ experience in training and mentoring.
