Irish singer-songwriter Cian Ducrot has been announced as the latest artist to perform at the eagerly anticipated iMEP Music Festival in Accrington this September.

Cian, whose debut album ‘Victory’ went to number one in the UK & Ireland charts, will be supporting global superstar Jess Glynne at the concert.

With over 1 billion global streams, Cian is a big hit around the world, with his UK, Australia, EU and US headline tours selling out in just one week.

‘All For You’ and ‘I’ll Be Waiting’ are amongst his most downloaded songs, with the latter reaching the Spotify Global Top 200, as well as generating over 600 million views on TikTok.

Having been personally invited to perform as part of their shows by Ed Sheeran, The Killers, Dermot Kennedy, the Jonas Brothers and co-writing new single ‘Saturn’ with SZA, Cian will now perform in Lancashire.

The iMEP Music Festival, organised by iMEP International Music Event Production, will take place on Saturday 21st September 2024 at the home of Accrington Cricket Club.

Early bird and VIP tickets sold out within hours, with limited general admission (£50) and priority entry tickets (£65) remaining. Tickets are available to purchase from: www.imep.co.uk

Fans are also being encouraged to visit the iMEP social media channels for further updates: https://www.facebook.com/iMEPGlobal, https://x.com/imepuk and https://www.instagram.com/imep_uk.

Excitement has been building across Lancashire and beyond following the announcement of the festival back in May, with Jess Glynne, the voice behind Clean Bandit’s “Rather Be”, Route 94’s “My Love”, Rudimental’s “These Days” with Macklemore, and the extremely popular “Hold My Hand” as featured on the Jet2 advert, headlining the event.

The only British female solo artist to have seven no.1 singles on the UK Singles Chart, Jess was also considered one of the “Most Influential People Under 30” by Forbes magazine in 2019.

With ten billion global streams, she recently announced her long awaited third studio album ‘Jess’ which was released in late April.

Eddy O’Brien, CEO of iMEP, said: “We are really excited to make another big announcement for the iMEP Music Festival. Cian is an incredibly successful up and coming artist, who has fans all around the world and we are proud to be bringing him here to Lancashire.

“Alongside our headliner, the incredible Jess Glynne, we are putting on a show that will live long in the memory. Tickets are selling fast for what is Jess’s only gig in the North West and the final leg of her summer tour, so we urge anyone thinking of coming to the festival to get yours now to avoid disappointment.”

Accrington based iMEP, are specialists in “International Music Event Production”, and were recently announced as the new arena and front of shirt sponsors at Accrington Cricket Club, as well as sponsors of Accrington Stanley’s Eric Whalley Family Stand.

Offering everything from lighting, sound, staging and special effects, to fully managed music and theatre event production, iMEP regularly work with stars around the world.
