Pink Link is delighted to announce Unique Homecare as the new sponsor of their Pink Link Lancaster networking group.

Unique Homecare, based in Lancaster, are a female-led business that is a pioneer in the field of dementia care and home care services. They were the first company to introduce Mindfulness in Social Care which is now being endorsed by a national workforce development company.

Michelle Thompson, director of Unique Homecare said “We chose to align our brand with Pink Link as their ethos of women supporting women to succeed in business concurs with ours of making the difference in people’s life.”

Whilst Covid-19 has had a huge economic effect on female enterprise, lockdown gave Pink Link time to reflect, regroup and review the business’ strengths and weaknesses. Last year, they attracted over 4,000 attendees to their events. As lockdown was announced, they moved their networking meetings online and introduced a series of free masterclasses offering emotional, physical and professional support to help women in business to stay in business.

This led to the launch of a new Pink Link Ladies online networking platform which will run alongside the existing Pink Link Ladies network and will help connect businesswomen far and wide. The new business model offers free first visits, PAYG options for visitors and low cost membership to local groups.

Coral Horn, Founder of Pink Link said “We have seen female enterprise hit hard by the lockdown. However, it gave us an opportunity to pivot and innovate. We’ve used this time to make changes to our business model and scale up. Whilst social distancing and threats of potential localised lockdowns may destabilise businesses, we are helping women to explore business opportunities and collaborations with like-minded women across the UK. Having the support of Michelle and her team at Unique Homecare is an exciting new partnership and one which we are looking forward to developing within the business community.”

The Pink Link Lancaster group meet once a month. To discover more about Pink Link and how you can join this dynamic female network, contact Coral Horn on 01772 348309 or visit http://www.pinklinkladies.co.uk for more details.
