New recruits join Taylor Patterson Graduate Scheme

Preston-based financial advisory group, Taylor Patterson, has appointed two new graduates into its successful Graduate Scheme, providing vital administration support to a growing team of financial advisers at the firm.

Sam Hawarden and Rachel Harper will work alongside former graduates in the financial planning support team and study towards Diplomas in Regulated Financial Planning.

Graduates on the scheme complete a number of important tasks, including providing quality investment reports to support advice given by advisers, preparation of performance graphs, calculations of investment performance and managing client fees for invoicing.

By recruiting graduates, Taylor Patterson hopes to harness fresh talent within Lancashire and “grow their own people” to fulfil the skills required by the business today and in the future.

Director Louise Potter, who heads up the scheme, said: “Graduates that join Taylor Patterson support our advisers in a number of ways, and producing our clients investment reports on time is a key service standard that we must provide in order to meet industry regulations.” She added: “In the past we have been overwhelmed by how much our graduates have achieved, and find that their determination, work ethic and willingness to learn make them a real asset.”
