Pierce Chartered Accountants has launched a new website, which is aimed at transforming the firm’s online performance, helping customers access services and expertise they require.

Replacing the previous ten-year-old website, Preston-based digital agency Bespoke has delivered the new website to meet specific lead generation targets through ongoing digital marketing, while also introducing a completely new navigation system aimed at driving customers towards the services most relevant to them in the most efficient manner.

Established 1929, Pierce is an award-winning business advisory and accountancy group based in Blackburn, employing 65 people in departments covering accounts, audit, payroll, tax, corporate finance, forensic services, business consultancy, admin, secretarial, IT and online services.

Pierce has described the new website as marking the beginning of the next chapter for the firm, which has recently added to its senior team with a number of new hires and internal promotions at board level.

As part of the website’s development, Pierce Director Lisa Kennery took part in Bespoke’s Digital Accelerator programme.  Building on ideas outlined in the bestselling book by Bespoke CEO Steve Brennan, the 20-week programme consists of masterclasses, mentoring, strategy production, learning portal, and online community support.

Bespoke head of digital Chris Ward said: “We are especially pleased to have worked with Pierce, who are one of the biggest names in accountancy in Lancashire, in the delivery of this new website.  Having worked with Lisa through our Digital Accelerator, it’s very much a partnership project, dovetailing agency expertise with client understanding to meet big business objectives.”

Pierce Accountants director Lisa Kennery said: “We are really excited to be launching the new website, which genuinely represents a new chapter for Pierce’s approach to online lead generation and customer interaction.

“After ten years with our old website, we feel online has almost been an untapped client acquisition channel for Pierce.  The new website is underpinned by a deeply planned digital strategy, with everything about it linked to specific lead generation targets, so it’s an exciting step for an established company like Pierce.

“In these times when accountancy services and advice are in such huge demand, we’re proud to have a website that is up to the job in helping our customers access the services and expertise they need now and into the long term.”
