National accountancy firm Danbro has appointed a new director of employment services, as the business targets growth in the construction sector.
With a 10-year career in construction, James is well-placed to lead the division of Danbro that is targeting the construction industry.
Legislation governing self-employment and temporary workers has gone through significant change over the last few years and continues to do so. James says: “We have to adapt quickly and compliantly to continue to grow in a sustainable way.
Originally from Derby, James studied Mathematics at Nottingham University and initially turned down a career in accounting so he could join construction giant Balfour Beatty. He spent eight years at the company setting up a training business, managing group-wide strategic projects, mobilising global initiatives and leading the rollout of a new operating model.
He says: “Danbro is a great company. The cofounders have really strong ethical values, which are shared right the way through the organisation, and ultimately define what we do and how we do it. This is a great foundation in which we can build new service offerings and target new areas for growth.” Damian Broughton, executive chairman at Danbro says: “James brings a wealth of experience and he has challenged us to deliver even more for our clients. We’re delighted to welcome him to the business and we are excited to work with James to grow the Employment Services Business.”
