New care home roles to improve standards

The newly-created positions, all clinical leads, have been designed to maintain and raise the standards of care within the Accrington business.

The new roles will be in addition to existing positions held by Karen Fairclough, who will continue as health and safety lead, and Bernadette Bennett as safeguarding lead.

“We are constantly working with staff, residents and relatives to look at ways we can improve, looking for feedback and never resting on our laurels. “By appointing a nurse to these areas it will mean the people who have put their faith in us to deliver the highest quality care will continue to do so.”
