New account director appointed at Motionlab

A further key staff appointment has been made at digital agency Motionlab following the arrival of Charlotte Haslam as account director.

As account director, Charlotte will spearhead Motionlab’s growing client services team and oversee client management and relationship building for the agency.

Charlotte has enjoyed an 18-year long career in digital marketing, the last 10 years being served at McCann Manchester in the role of senior account director where she worked across a range of sectors; finance, health and wellbeing, retail and automotive.

Prior to that, she moved to the capital at the start of the digital boom, taking on an account management position with AKQA London.

Whilst there she was responsible for delivering client services for a number of high-profile international companies including Nike and Microsoft and was heavily involved in the development of Sainsbury’s online grocery proposition.

Her passion for all things digital began at ADS in Manchester.

Charlotte commented: “I am delighted to be joining Motionlab which has established itself as a major player within the ever competitive digital industry.

“After moving back to the area I was keen to source a local agency that exercises the progressive approach commonplace at the national agencies I have previously worked at. In Motionlab I firmly believe I have found the perfect fit.”

This is the latest in a series of staff appointments made at Motionlab after securing retainers for clients including the Bowker Motor Group and Johnsons Cleaners in the first half of 2015.

The agency's online marketing, graphic design, technical and PR teams have all been strengthened to deal with increasing client demand and sustain the exceptional service delivery Motionlab has become renowned for.

Motionlab CEO, Simon Iredale said: “Charlotte’s background in digital speaks for itself. Attracting someone with her wide-ranging experience shows the great strides that Motionlab has made over the past few years and reaffirms our status as one of the North West’s most respected digital agencies.” Starting life in 2004, Motionlab employs a team of 40 design and digital marketing experts at its 3,750 square feet office at Preston’s Citygate. Motionlab specialises in website design and development, branding and design, mobile applications, online marketing, PR and content services for over 60 retained clients.
