Saj has been invited in recognition of his work with the Chamber of Commerce East Lancashire, of which he has been a director and board member for almost 20 years. Two of these were spent as its president and chairman.

Saj, who has lived in Lancashire for almost 50 years, is married with four children. He studied at Primet High School in Colne and then Nelson and Colne College. His association with the College stretches over three decades, initially as a student in the late seventies, then as the assistant manager of the then unique and award-winning Drop in Skills Centre (DISC) in the early eighties, and then as a lecturer in technology. More recently as a governor and board member.
The past 19 years have been dedicated to the family Computer Business, 3B Systems Ltd., one of the premiere IT suppliers in Lancashire, which he helped launch back in 1985, and runs with his brothers, managing director Ijaz and sales director Noushad. He is a very active member of the Community, including a seat on the Pendle Vision board, a founding member of the Roof of the World Charity, and the soon-to-be-launched weekly radio programme, Saj’s World on Awaz Radio 103.1FM
