Napthens Group has today published its first environmental, social and governance (ESG) report, setting a clear baseline for sustainability performance and reaffirming its commitment to responsible growth.
The 2024/25 ESG report provides a comprehensive overview of Napthens’ environmental impact, social initiatives, and governance practices across its regional offices and operations.
While this is the beginning of a formalised ESG journey, Napthens has already made meaningful strides.
From its #OpeningDoors outreach programme and inclusive recruitment practices to its partnership with the NSPCC and employee-led equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) committees, the firm has built a strong foundation of social equity, environmental awareness, and ethical governance.
Stephen Faulkner, managing director at Napthens, said: “Our first sustainability report marks an important step in our journey toward greater environmental responsibility, social impact, and ethical governance.
“The report reflects the firm’s values of collaboration, excellence, and understanding, and lays the foundation for future improvements,
“We believe that everyone in our firm should have a genuine sense of belonging and opportunity to thrive, and we recognise our broader responsibility to reduce our environmental impact, support our communities and ensure transparency and accountability in everything we do.”
The report also outlines Napthens’ alignment with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and the Legal Sustainability Alliance (LSA) ESG framework, and details its materiality assessment process, stakeholder engagement, and ESG prioritisation criteria.
Lancashire Business View reported last week about Napthens opening a new office in Manchester marking a major milestone in the firm’s strategic expansion across the North West.
