Mytton Fold Golf Club will officially launch FootGolf from Sunday 7th September.
FootGolf is the fastest growing sport worldwide combining the excitement of football with the precision of golf.
Mytton Fold welcomed England and Everton defender Fern Whelan to open the FootGolf course with a 'kick-on' on Tuesday 1st September.
"There has been lots of interest and bookings are pouring in – everyone is excited about this new sports opportunity.
"FootGolfers tee off from new tees but the holes are placed at shorter distances. The holes are 21” in diameter and 14” deep and are placed off to the side of the traditional fairway in the semi-rough.
Footgolf will be open every Sunday from 2.00pm onwards, with prices for 18 holes at £10.00 per person. There is a maximum of five players per team plus a deposit of £5.00 per ball. Tee-off times can be booked either direct with the Golf Club or through the UK FootGolf website booking form on www.ukfootgolf.com.
