More Lancashire businesses pledge support for Red Rose Awards

The Red Rose Awards, Lancashire’s biggest business celebration, has secured five new sponsorship deals with prominent county businesses.

Three new companies have backed individual awards. IN4 Group, the Preston-based technology skills and careers champion, is sponsoring the digital award, Blackburn-based Pierce Chartered Accountants is sponsoring the newly-launched category representing microbusinesses, and Lancaster University is sponsoring the resilience award for companies who best weathered the effects of the global events over the last few years.

The addition of these new awards sponsors means that all 22 categories are now supported by local businesses.

Plant and earthworks specialist Fox Group, already backing the small business award, has also signed on to sponsor the runway. Begbies Traynor, the UK-wide corporate rescue and recovery practice, is sponsoring the drinks reception which will kick off the festivities at Winter Gardens Blackpool on June 9.

They each join headline sponsors Forbes Solicitors and Barclays in supporting what has become the county’s favourite business awards ceremony over more than a decade. More than 1,000 guests will attend the one-of-a-kind black-tie ceremony which features locally-sourced food, entertainment and a fun-filled after-party.

Stephen Bolton, commercial director of Lancashire Business View which organises the awards, said: “The purpose of our awards is to bring all types and sizes of businesses together to make new connections while celebrating the best of the county.

“We’ve had a fantastic number of companies entering the awards and we are especially proud of the number of companies who have pledged their support. It is with their backing that we can organise such a memorable event each year and we’re delighted to see how many organisations passionately support our vision.”
