Moore and Smalley hails record year

Lancashire-based accountants and business advisers, Moore and Smalley, has revealed its best ever financial year for turnover and employee numbers.

The firm, which has offices across Lancashire, Cumbria, Manchester, Merseyside and East Midlands, has seen turnover rise 11 per cent from £12.8m to £14.2m, with staff numbers rising from 246 to 277, an increase of 13 per cent.

The firm, which also opened regional hubs in Manchester and Liverpool, cites the demand for specialist advice as a reason behind its growth, along with new services.

“We have also launched a new cloud accountancy service for small enterprises and the self-employed called SE+, which has resonated with digital savvy business owners looking to utilise new technology.”
