Accrington based McMurrays Haulage has partnered with Marsden Building Society to introduce a Workplace Savings scheme to colleagues across the business.
The initiative reflects a shared commitment to supporting the financial well-being of employees, by providing a simple and accessible way to build regular savings habits and strengthen financial resilience.
Jilly Bell, Marsden’s savings development manager, visited the McMurrays site to host on‑site drop‑in sessions, giving employees the opportunity to learn more about the scheme and open accounts.
Jilly said: “It’s fantastic to be working in partnership with McMurrays Haulage to support their employees’ financial well-being.
“By introducing the Workplace Savings scheme, they’re making it easier for their colleagues to build positive saving habits and plan for the future.”
David McMurray, managing director at McMurrays Haulage, added: “We recognise that supporting our colleagues goes beyond the workplace.
“Financial well-being is an important part of overall well-being, and we’re pleased to be partnering with Marsden Building Society to provide our employees with access to a simple and practical savings solution.
“The response from the team during the launch sessions was extremely positive.”
