McMurrays Haulage expands with £1m extension and recruitment drive

McMurrays Haulage is a family-owned transport & distribution company, long-established in Accrington since 1971.

They deliver goods throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe and also provide warehousing services. They have maintained their excellent service record and continued to invest and expand in recent times - a record £3m in 2021, which included new fleet and a 50th Anniversary liveried truck.

The latest expansion for McMurrays is a £1.1m investment in a brand new building, some extra 28,000 square feet which will be dedicated to a new warehouse area, offices, and enhanced driver and staff facilities. The building work has commenced and is expected to be completed by July 2022. The new facility is designed to help the expansion of their pallet network, and groupage operation.

Rob Spencer, commercial manager said: "We're expanding again, and that means we need more great people to join our team."
