Mayes Doubles-Up As Award Finalist

An Accrington based accountancy firm has been shortlisted as a finalist for two categories at the Be Inspired Business Awards (BIBAs).

Mayes Accountants, based on Willow Street, was selected to compete for the Service Business of the Year and the Excellence in Customer Service gongs, following a rigorous judging process.

The Mayes team will now face a final judging panel to see if they have what it takes to take the awards home at the glittering ceremony, which will be held at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 20th September.

Andrew Botham, Chief Executive at Mayes said, “It’s a complete honour to have been shortlisted alongside some of the most prestigious businesses in the county. Our team has worked tirelessly over the last year to deliver industry leading accountancy and business advisory services, with an added edge.

“The excellence in customer service shortlisting is especially exciting as we are up against businesses from all sectors. Our focus has been on our Business One Page Plan service – this aims to set the business we work with on the path to greater success and profitability. It is unlike anything else being offered by local accountancy practices.”

The BIBAs shortlisting follows Mayes earlier success this year at the Red Rose Awards, where the firm was named Financial Services Business of the Year.

The BIBAs is a Lancashire-centric ceremony recognising and honouring the breadth of business achievement in the county. Accrington based Mayes Accountants employs a team of specialists who provide over 250 limited companies across the North West with a breadth of accounting services.
