Masterclasses to boost business for awards finalists

Finalists at this year’s Red Rose Awards will be given exclusive access to masterclasses designed to help them land one of the coveted awards at Lancashire’s biggest celebration of business.

And winners will benefit from a further session on how to exploit their success and make their trophy work harder for sales and marketing purposes.

The events will be led by Blackburn-based Sales Geek, a three-time winner at the Red Rose Awards.

The first workshop, available to all shortlisted finalists, takes place on September 15 and will include top tips and advice on how to present to and engage with judges, plus techniques to help finalists fine tune their pitch to impress the judging panels on 22 and 23 September.

The second, available to each winner after the awards in November, will focus on making the most of winning a Red Rose Award and will inspire businesses to use their success as a platform to achieve greater things.

Richard Few, Sales Geek founder, said: “The Red Rose Awards is the greatest celebration of Lancashire business and we are delighted to have the opportunity to be supporting them this year.

“Having done ourselves very proud in 2020 winning three Red Rose Awards, we wanted to give something back and support the finalists.”

Stephen Bolton of the Red Rose Awards said: “We’re excited to have a company of the calibre of Sales Geek supporting the awards and, with their assistance, all finalists will be given the tools to put their best case forward before the judges.

“The masterclasses also give businesses from across the county the opportunity to network with each other. It’s the best of the best, coming together, making connections and hopefully doing deals, too.

“Red Rose Awards provides fantastic opportunities to be noticed, make new connections and do more business.

“These sessions will help our winners and finalists do more and better business.”

The Red Rose Awards are open for entries until August 20. More details of the awards and the nomination process can be found online at www.redroseawards.co.uk

The Sales Geek masterclasses are the latest innovation delivered by the organisers of the Red Rose Awards, Lancashire’s most popular business awards programme which culminates in a glittering prize ceremony on November 25.

Sales Geek provides sales support to a huge variety of businesses across a variety of industries. Launched in 2017, the company has already worked with clients across the UK and around the world, launched an app and begun franchising. They won the New Business Award, Growing Business Award and Small Business Award at the Red Rose Awards in 2020.

The Red Rose Awards are in association with Forbes Solicitors and Barclays. The judging partner is Blackpool and The Fylde College. The awards are also sponsored by Azets, Business Health Matters, Cube Thinking, Eventus Recruitment Group, Four Recruitment, Harrison Drury Solicitors, Matrix 247, Mattioli Woods, Napthens Solicitors, Peter Scott Printers, Pink Link, PM+M, Porsche Centre Bolton, Rowan Group, Sales Geek, Seriun, Sundown Solutions, Two Zero and University of Central Lancashire.
