Marsden Building Society has partnered with Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) to offer members a wider range of mortgage options tailored to meet their needs.

Through this partnership, Marsden Building Society can now assist applicants in finding the most suitable mortgage by referring them to MAB, which has access to thousands of products from over 90 different lenders.

This means new and existing members can benefit from a comprehensive range of products and competitive rates.

Additionally, the society can now support a wider range of customers in securing a suitable mortgage, with MAB able to find mortgages for first-time buyers, second-steppers, retirees, UK expats and landlords.

Members will have access to MAB’s team of experienced mortgage advisers for personalised advice to help them make informed decisions. From the initial consultation to the final steps of securing a mortgage, members can opt to use MAB’s services to navigate the complexities of the mortgage market and secure the most suitable deal for them.

Rob Pheasey, chief executive at Marsden Building Society, said: “Everybody deserves the opportunity to own their own home, and we’re excited to embark on this new partnership that will allow us to support more homeowners, no matter where they are on the property ladder. Through this new partnership, we can leverage the expertise and resources of Mortgage Advice Bureau to ensure all our new and existing members receive the most suitable solution for their mortgage needs.”

Danny Belton, head of Lending at Mortgage Advice Bureau, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Marsden Building Society to expand our reach and offer their members access to a wider range of mortgage options.

"Our expertise, coupled with Marsden's commitment to providing exceptional customer service, will ensure that their members can find a deal that will suit their individual needs.

"Together, we're dedicated to helping more customers get mortgage ready and achieve their homeownership goals – no matter what stage of the homebuying journey they are at."

Founded in 1860, Marsden Building Society is the largest Lancashire-based building society. For more information about the partnership, visit www.themarsden.co.uk.
