Mark Crabtree given Outstanding Achievement Award at Northern Leaders awards

AMS Neve founder and managing director Mark Crabtree OBE has been awarded the prestigious Outstanding Achievement Award at the BusinessCloud Northern Leaders Awards, held at KPMG in Manchester.  

A panel of esteemed judges whittled down the main list of 540 names to just 19 winners in 15 categories. The awards aim to shine a light on the leaders who continue to make the biggest positive difference to the North of England.

The award was presented to Mark to respect his extensive career in the audio equipment field.

The judges said: "Mark has won two Oscars, an Emmy and a Grammy and has created hit-making equipment for the likes of Snoop Dogg, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Phil Collins, and Sam Smith in his illustrious career. He's been making music for nearly 50 years - and now he's a Northern Leaders winner."

Mark Crabtree said: "This is a great honour to receive and I give credit to the great team at AMS. Everybody here is very hard working, and very dedicated to what we do. Nearly 5 decades ago, I had a vision but could never have imagined the scale of the career and achievements that lay ahead, and I'm very grateful."
