Managing director wins top award at Women in Business Awards

Priscilla Coates, managing director of Magma Digital, a technical software agency based in Preston and Manchester has been recognised for her continued success as a female business leader in the Downtown Lancashire Women in Business awards.

Priscilla was initially nominated by her colleagues and peers, in the business community for the best business award.

Priscilla was nominated and announced the winner in recognition of Magma Digital's unique approach to its clients in delivering software solutions which meet and exceed their client’s needs. The business is able to achieve this by hiring the best and most creative software engineers and as a technologically based organisation ensuring that the business keeps pace with innovation and anticipates client’s software needs to sustain and facilitate the growth of their business.

Under the stewardship of managing director Priscilla, this year will see Magma Digital achieve its highest turnover to date. The team have described her as “someone who is always moving them forward and never the allowing the business to stand still.” Priscilla said: “It is an honour to receive this award, our success is attributed to our passion and commitment towards our clients, sector and our team culture. We strive to constantly improve year on year and have set ourselves challenging growth targets for the years ahead.”
