Making Tax Digital on Sage 50 Accounts

If you use Sage 50 you may know that Sage introduced a Making Tax Digital module for version 24 or above. It is free with the subscription version. It is also available for those who have bought a perpetual licence, although you may have a hard time finding that out from Sage themselves.

Sage 50 Cloud Accounts

As a subscription customer you can upgrade anytime to the latest version and the MTD module comes free as part of your subscription.

Sage 50 Accounts – Perpetual licence – version 24/25

You can get a MTD module subscription to add to the perpetual licence.  The RRP is £300 for the first year, but contact Your Office Anywhere for better pricing.

Very important, regardless of what some may tell you, you do not need to change to a subscription licence for Sage 50 to get the MTD module.

Sage 50 Accounts – Perpetual licence – v23 or earlier
