This kind of session has traditionally been done on-site, either at people’s place of work or in one of our demo rooms, but we are increasingly seeing demand for them to be delivered remotely.

Lunch & Learn is designed specifically for consultants but is also relevant for design/bid teams and sales colleagues and is a blend of technical insight and live demo using our operational control room environment.

Sessions, which are short enough to fit into a typical lunch break, provide an overview of the technology, system architecture and their uses along with case studies.

They are focused on increasing participants’ knowledge of how high-level technical applications can help them, rather than being a sales pitch. 

We share and increase knowledge of current and new developments, with plenty of opportunities for questions, and sessions can be used as part of people’s continuing professional development.

A typical agenda includes a brief introduction to UVS, and a general overview of video wall display technology and its applications, including display screens, display wall controllers, display sources and video wall controller software. We also cover other associated control room technology, like KVM solutions, which are becoming a major part of control room architecture, reducing the amount of equipment the operators need to interact with.
