Committed to giving something back to the communities in which it builds, Anwyl Homes has sponsored the Under 10s Whites team at Longridge Town Juniors, providing the players with brand new training tops and jackets ahead of the new season.

Having acquired land in Longridge with a new development coming soon, the award-winning housebuilder was keen to support Longridge Town Juniors.

It is Anwyl Homes’ first development in Longridge, and the housebuilder will deliver a total of 95 new build homes, including a superb range of three bedroom semi-detached and detached homes, plus three and four bedroom detached homes.

Longridge Town Juniors was established in 1996 and competes in the Mid Lancs Colts and Central Lancs Junior Football Leagues.  It is the Club’s belief that every child should be allowed access to football and to play in a fun and friendly environment, with the Club developing teams for children aged six up to 16.

The Under 10s Whites were delighted to receive the branded training tops and jackets in the Club’s striking red and black colours at a recent training session from Matthew Gould, Anwyl’s sales manager in Lancashire.

Johnathan Kenyon, coach of Longridge Town Juniors Under 10s Whites, says: “The generosity of local businesses really does benefit the junior teams at the Club and we are extremely grateful to Anwyl Homes for its support.  The players are so pleased with their new training gear – they look really professional in them.”

Matthew Gould adds: “Inglewhite Meadow will be our first development in Longridge so it was important to us that we showed support to the local community in some way and the Club seemed like a natural choice.  The young players were so appreciative of their new training gear – it was a pleasure to watch them train in them and I wish them well for the new season later in the year.

“We are really looking forward to introducing the award-winning Anwyl brand to Longridge and perhaps even welcoming some Longridge Town Junior footballers to the development as residents!”

Part of the Anwyl Group, Anwyl Homes Lancashire is a growing region with Carr’s Rise in Prescot well underway plus Edenhurst Park in Liverpool, Lea Grange in St Helens and Inglewhite Meadow in Longridge all coming soon.

The award winning Anwyl Group has been established for over 85 years and has three divisions: Anwyl Homes, Anwyl Construction and Anwyl Land.  The family-run business is known for its thoughtful approach, bringing care and integrity to all aspects of every project in order to exceed expectations and ensure complete satisfaction for customers.  For further information, please visit www.anwylhomes.co.uk
