Local firm up for national award

FS Accountants of Clitheroe has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry award - the British Accountancy Awards 2013 in the category Accountancy Practice Start Up Award.

The results will be announced on Wednesday, November 20 at the Pavilion at the Tower of London.

The awards are the most talked about event in the accountancy profession, with more than 500 attendees from global and nationwide practices. The awards acknowledge professional development and excellence over the past 12 months.

FS Accountants is headed up by Damian Farragher ACCA and Sarah Sharples ACCA and was formed in 2010. Their business has gone from strength to strength due to the whole-hearted support, understanding and advice they offer their clients. Clients include high net worth individuals, a chain of private day nurseries and manufacturing businesses. Sarah Sharples said: "We are delighted to be shortlisted having passed a rigorous application and selection process with 16 world leading judges on the panel. We will be in attendance in London, but already feel we have achieved recognition for our instinctive, client facing approach and real business and accountancy solutions.”
