Local company are The Sunday Times ‘One to Watch’ for 2016

North West and Yorkshire fuel distributor Craggs Energy were extremely proud to announce that they have been chosen to feature in the top ten “Ones To Watch” as part of the annual Sunday Times Fast Track 100.

The Sunday Times Fast Track “Ones To Watch” category represents companies that have narrowly missed out on the main 100 league table, but are set to grow rapidly in the coming years.

Craggs Energy CEO, Chris Bingham, said: “We are genuinely elated to be recognised in such a prestigious publication. I am so proud of how the business has grown in the last four years. In 2011 we started with nothing but just an idea to provide fuel to customers at a fair price and with a great service. By the end of 2015 we will have delivered over 50 million litres of fuel UK wide. We now operate from 4 depots across the North West and Yorkshire, have a fleet of 15 delivery vehicles and employ over 50 full time members of staff. Receiving recognition like this is a real honour and I put it down to the dedication and commitment from our entire team.”

The family run fuel company have also recently won “Entrepreneur of the Year” and in 2012 won “New Business of the Year” at the Halifax Business Awards. Alongside this they have been shortlisted for the category “Sales Team of the Year with Under 50 Employees” for the British Excellence in Sales and Marketing Awards. Craggs Energy offer a wide range of products and services to their customers, such as Low Priced Scheduled Deliveries and a unique Fixed Price Fuel Scheme called “Oil Price Protect”. The 12 month Fixed Price buying plan has been widely received by a large proportion of their existing customer base who wish to de-risk the purchasing of their fuel in a market where Heating Oil prices often fluctuate dramatically from season to season.
