Local architect expands practice in Chorley

The ground floor office space of a detached, converted former stables block has been snapped up by a firm of local architects.

Gilling Dod Architects, whose current Chorley office is based in an adjacent building on Duxbury Park, is expanding into a further 2,100 sq ft at The Stables, a two storey block set in a courtyard, which will substantially increase its floor area and provide additional office space and conferencing facilities, alongside its main office.

Gilling Dod takes the office from landlords European Settled Estate with Robert Pinkus & Co. acting on behalf of the landlord. Bryan Pullan of Gilling Dod said: "Ongoing success in both education and health commissions has enabled us to expand the practice, bolster our workforce and incease our working space to service both our immediate needs and our growing portfolio in the future. We're looking forward to welcoming our clients to our new, expanded premises."
