Lea Hough Chartered Surveyors has expanded its building surveying team with the appointment of Chartered Building Surveyor, Chris Atkinson.

With over 15 years of working in a building surveying capacity, Chris has a broad range of professional experience, having held positions both in the social housing sector and in private surveying practice.

Having worked across a broad range of projects varying from standard refurbishments to project works on historic and listed buildings, Chris also has valuable technical expertise on listed building applications and planning requirements. .

Living locally in Clitheroe, Chris will be based at Lea Hough’s Blackburn office but will work across the region.

“We anticipate that having Chris on the team will give us greater capacity to grow, particularly in the areas where Chris has built up a good reputation – such as managing large projects and administering a variety of building contracts.” The appointment of Chris Atkinson takes the number of fee-earning staff up to 14; located across the firm’s two main offices in Blackburn and Preston, and further two satellite offices in Clitheroe and Lancaster. Lea Hough offer property advice and consultancy services to residential, commercial and rural clients across Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and the wider North West.
