Preston based law firm Harrison Drury is marking its 125th anniversary in 2026 with a commitment to continue supporting its clients, people and communities.
The firm can trace its roots back to 1901 when William Henry Coupe began practising as a solicitor from an upstairs office in Lune Street, Preston.
Today it has grown to have more than 220 colleagues and nine offices across the North of England, being there for clients and working closely with charity and community partners to build social value through its responsible business activity.
This year, the firm has also invested in new software to introduce AI workflows to support its teams with delivering an even better service and strengthening its client relationships.
Simon England, managing partner of Harrison Drury, said: “125 years is a big milestone for any organisation and while it’s great to look back and celebrate our achievements, we want to continue looking forward.
“We want to ensure we remain one of the best workplaces in the UK for the long term, to continue being recognised as experts in our respective fields, making it possible for our clients, and remaining at the heart of our communities.”
Throughout 2026, this firm is continuing to grow its services and sector specialisms by attracting, retaining and developing outstanding people and teams.
It is also supporting nine staff-nominated charities through firm-wide fundraising and volunteering efforts.
“As we always have done, we’re supporting local charities and community initiatives in all of the areas where we have offices,” added Simon.
“It’s part of our long-term commitment to corporate responsibility, something that’s always been part of the DNA of Harrison Drury.”
