Active Lancashire Introduces Workplace Health Champion Course: Empowering Businesses to Support Employee Wellbeing.

Active Lancashire is delighted to announce the national launch of the Workplace Health Champion, designed to address absenteeism, reduce stress, and create healthier, more productive workplaces.

This initiative forms part of the "Nobody Gets Left Behind" campaign, which ensures every employee is equipped with the skills and support they need to overcome health challenges and achieve long-term career success.

The Workplace Health Champion courses provide nationally recognised Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, equipping participants with the tools to proactively manage mental and physical health in the workplace.

These affordable, accredited courses empower organisations to address the root causes of absenteeism, enhance employee engagement, and reduce workplace health challenges.

The training delivers practical knowledge to improve team wellbeing and drive overall productivity.

Amanda Forrest, Training and Development at Active Lancashire, says: "Every employee's career is a journey.  The Workplace Health Champion course ensures that no one is left behind, empowering teams to prevent burnout and support one another effectively."

How It Works

  • Foundation Training: Equips employees with the basics of workplace health.
  • Level 2 Award: Provides tools for recognising and managing workplace stress and health challenges.
  • Level 3 Award: Delivers advanced strategies to lead wellbeing initiatives and foster cultural change.

The programme is ideal for HR teams, occupational health departments, senior leaders, and public sector organisations seeking sustainable solutions to workplace wellbeing.

Don’t let absenteeism hold your business back. Enrol your team in the Workplace Health Champion course and take the first step towards a healthier, more engaged workforce.
