LARS, an industry leader in radio site build, antenna system installation and tower fabrication has announced recently that it has achieved two further accreditations: ISO 22301 Business Continuity Management System certification from the British Assessment Bureau (BAB) and successful completion of the Achilles Utilities Vendor Database (UVDB) Audit. These accreditations demonstrate the company's unwavering commitment to operational resilience, industry best practices, and client satisfaction.

To attain the ISO 22301 accreditation, LARS underwent a comprehensive evaluation to ensure its business continuity plan (BCP) aligns with international standards. This plan outlines strategies to effectively respond to disruptive incidents, minimise downtime, and ensure business continuity in the face of unforeseen challenges. Similarly, the Achilles UVDB Audit assesses a company's capabilities, qualifications, and health and safety practices against stringent industry benchmarks specific to the utilities sector.

These accreditations offer numerous benefits to LARS and its stakeholders, positioning the company as a reliable and trustworthy partner.

ISO 22301: This certification reassures clients that LARS has a robust plan to mitigate disruptions and maintain operations during critical situations. This translates to minimized risk and enhanced client confidence.

Achilles UVDB Audit: Successful completion of the Achilles UVDB Audit grants LARS access to a pre-qualified pool of potential clients within the utilities sector. This not only expands business opportunities but also signifies the company's adherence to the high standards demanded by the industry.

Receipt of these latest accreditations solidifies LARS’ position as a well-respected organisation within the various sectors in which the company operates. In addition to ISO 22301 and Achilles UVDB, the company also holds ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO 27001 (Information Security Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management) certifications. This comprehensive suite of accreditations demonstrates LARS’ unwavering commitment to quality, sustainability, security, and the well-being of its employees, all of which contribute to its reputation as a trusted and reliable partner.

Following confirmation of the most recent accreditations, Business Development Manager at LARS, Julian Cooper, said; “These accreditations represent our significant investment and commitment towards demonstrating to our customers and all other stakeholders that we have the very best systems in place. I would like to say a huge thank you to everybody at LARS for their hard work in making this possible”.
