Language Insight continues to grow overseas
Language Insight has plans to further expand its global reach after earning the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade 2019.
The Preston firm, founded in 2009, is one of a few translation providers to be internationally accredited to ISO9001 Quality Management, ISO27001 Information Security and ISO17100 Translation Services.
This has sparked sales growth of 230 per cent increase over the last three years, with revenues increasing by 33.4 per cent in 2018/19 alone and international trade accounting for almost 50 per cent of sales.
The international expansion includes opening offices in New York and Germany.
Donna Twose, founder and managing director, said: “We have been experiencing significant growth for several years, which was recognised by the Queen’s Award and we hope this in itself will contribute to continuing growth and success – in particular in the US market.
“Managing fast growth is a significant balancing act in terms of recruitment, training and infrastructure. Attracting the right talent has been crucial to our success and is an ongoing process. Equally important is our ‘follow the sun’ operating hours for clients in every corner of the globe, which can be achieved by strategic office locations as we continue to grow.”
Donna has built an exceptionally talented team and I’m confident they will continue to grow and succeed.
Donna and her team have been helped along the road to success by the accountancy and business advisory firm MHA Moore and Smalley.
Damian Walmsley, partner and head of the firm’s international services, said: “We identified ways in which Language Insight could grow by setting strategic goals, which have helped the business to generate expansion and raise its profile internationally. Donna has built an exceptionally talented team and I’m confident they will continue to grow and succeed.”
