The Growth Support Programme is part of a £7.8m funded service, here to help Lancashire businesses grow. The European Regional Development Fund-backed Lancashire Business Growth Hub is led by the Lancashire LEP (Local Enterprise Partnership).

This new programme is designed to engage with and support both potential entrepreneurs about to start their growth journey and new enterprises to fulfil their potential. Support will be tailored to specific needs and cover the following:
  • Interactive learning modules covering finance, sales, marketing and other key areas
  • Personalised individual coaching from an industry expert
  • Growth action planning
  • Optional workshops and seminars
  • Growth masterclasses
  • Networking  opportunities
  • Access to finance
  • And a whole lot more
John O’Neill, manager of the Lancaster District Chamber of Commerce, said: “It’s great to be finally able to offer these start-up packages directly to local businesses and entrepreneurs. With two world-class universities and a great further education college, there is no shortage of talent being produced in the area. “It’s also important for existing businesses to understand that if they are starting a new division of their company, they could qualify as well. This BOOST money is there to be used and to help Lancashire continue its way as a great innovation centre, a great place to do business and to live.”
