Lancashire Hotspots event to put spotlight on #BrilliantBurnley

Businesses are being urged to attend the Lancashire Hotspots event taking place on 7 April from 8 – 10am at Prairie Sports Village, Burnley, to discover what the opportunities are in Burnley for business including skills, investment, ambition and collaboration.

Burnley Town Centre

This Lancashire Hotspots event, sponsored by Burnley Council and PM+M, is the second of a series taking place around the county throughout 2016. It will link directly to the Lancashire Hotspots feature in our May-June edition where the focus will be on Burnley.

It will be a question time-style panel event featuring leading business and public sector guests. There will also be plenty of opportunity to network with the movers and shakers of the area over breakfast plus interaction with the panel during Q&A.

Pam Smith, chief executive of Burnley Council will take part in a short Q and A before a debate with panel members including Kate Ingram, head of regeneration and planning policy, Burnley Council; Helen Binns, director, PM+M; Rupert Gatty, managing director, CoolKit; Colin Birchall, chairman, Birchall Food Service and Andrew Henderson, managing director, Lanway.

Richard Slater, publisher of Lancashire Business View magazine said: “Lancashire Hotspots will take a closer look at the county’s hottest spots for commerce, industry and regeneration.

“It offers perspectives from the across the landscape of the private and public sectors and delves into the business fabric of the county’s districts.
