Katherine left school at 16, having faced challenges with dyslexia and dyspraxia, which left her feeling disengaged from the academic environment.

While her peers pursued A-levels and university, Katherine recognised that her true passion lay in working with children. Inspired by her family’s entrepreneurial spirit - her great-grandmother helped start the Barton Grange garden centre family business - Katherine felt that starting a business was the natural next step for her.

At 16, she moved to Reading to complete a childcare diploma, achieving full marks in all her practical placements due to her innate understanding of child behaviour.

By the age of 19, Katherine began advising parents on managing their children’s behaviour, and her business, Katherine Elizabeth Parenting, quickly took off. Now, she leads a team of experienced childcare experts, offering personalised home visits to help families navigate behavioural challenges.
