Lancashire CRB Checking Company Becomes REC Partner

Personnel Checks have agreed a deal to become the Recruitment and Employment Confederation’s preferred supplier for DBS checks.

The Lancashire-based DBS specialist is a market leader in providing a tailored DBS service to all types of professional and voluntary organisations across the UK.

Under the terms of the new partnership, REC members are now eligible for a special discounted rate on all levels of DBS checks from Personnel Checks.

A free helpline has also been set up to provide members with support and advice in relation to any DBS issues.

Operations director Michelle Mellor said: “This is an exciting development for Personnel Checks because the REC are such a well respected organisation.

“Our sister company Cummins Mellor Recruitment is a long-standing member of the REC and we have benefitted greatly from their excellent advice and services over the years.

“We understand the importance of being able to carry out background checks, both quickly and easily, on members of staff where DBS clearance is essential for safeguarding society but also for staff in positions of security and trust such as key holders and roles where employees have access to sensitive information.

The partnership officially began on October 28, 2013, and coincides with the launch of Personnel Checks’ new website www.personnelchecks.co.uk The new site has been designed to make it easier for customers to access DBS checks online. It also contains a wealth of useful information for employers in relation to DBS checking.
