Lancashire agency gains two new recruits in preparation for growth

Chorley-based marketing communications agency The Write Angle has recruited two new members to its expanding team.

Emma Wimpeney and Rachel Mann have joined as account manager and PR assistant, pooling a wide range of skills to work across a range of business to business and public sector clients.

With more than six years' experience in the industry at leading communications consultancies including Bell Pottinger and inEvidence, Emma’s experience spans clients in the property, construction and education sectors. Her former role included a focus on customer advocacy work where she worked with several blue chip technology companies including CSC and HP.

Leeds Metropolitan PR and Spanish graduate, Rachel, joins The Write Angle to assist across the agency providing admin support to the account teams including research, drafting marketing materials and assisting with media relations activities.

The appointments follow several new client wins for the agency. Managing director Angela Smith said: “Both new team members bring first-class knowledge, experience and plenty of enthusiasm to an already dynamic team. “During the last six months we have seen very positive signs of improvement in the economy with more businesses looking to invest in marketing to facilitate their own growth plans. The new appointments will enable us to capitalise on this trend in 2014 and crucially provide a broad range of marketing communications services under one roof. ”
