Ormskirk business telecoms experts, Lake Technologies, has become an Advanced Networking Partner of router and network connectivity experts, DrayTek.

With the Taiwanese manufacturers scooping “Best Router Brand” at the PC Pro Excellence Awards recently, customers of Lake Technologies can rest assured that their network devices are among the very best hardware available anywhere on the market.

Underlining Lake Technologies’ commitment to delivering only the finest networking solutions for businesses across the North West of England, the Ormskirk-based business telecoms providers have been installing award-winning broadband devices from DrayTek for years. Lake’s determination to source the most advanced and reliable networking products for its customers is evidenced by this long-running alliance, which takes on an even greater significance as they become an Advanced Networking Partner of the networking technology firm.

Nothing demonstrates Lake’s keen eye for detail more acutely than their steadfast commitment to using routers and other networking accessories from DrayTek. Although perhaps not a household name to many, for those in the industry DrayTek’s products are considered second to none. Little wonder then that they picked up the accolade for “Best Router Brand”, as voted for by PC Pro readers, at the magazine’s recent PC Pro Excellence Awards 2019 in London – an award they have now won for the tenth time in twelve years.

As well as their versatile and award-winning routers, DrayTek's product line ranges from enterprise-level firewall security to VPN facilities for teleworking and branch-linking, VoIP and IP PBX products, and wireless LAN. The Borehamwood-based company’s innovative VPN solutions have enabled teleworkers and branch offices to create virtual links, providing cost savings, flexibility and improved productivity. Benefits that Lake Technologies have been able to pass on to their local customers.

Great networking solutions

Jamie Dobson, operations manager at Lake Technologies said: “DrayTek is a leading networking hardware manufacturer with devices that suit small businesses through to large enterprise solutions. We often rely on DrayTek devices to provide secure and reliable VoIP/SIP solutions.

“Their firewalls have built-in voice-traffic prioritisation, meaning no amount of normal network traffic, like web browsing or file sharing, can interfere with the valuable stable connection required for voice and video calls.

“Lake Technologies has been installing DrayTek routers, switches and wireless access points for over six years. We are very happy to be working more closely with DrayTek to build great networking solutions for our customers through their Advanced Networking Partner programme,” he added.

Lake Technologies delivers cost-effective business telecoms products and services for local businesses across the North West of England. Their tailor-made solutions cover everything from business telephone systems to business broadband, business mobile, Cloud-based hosted telephony, SIP trunks and contact centre services.
