Kirk expands its market-leading product range

Kirk Environmental has introduced a new tank system to their existing market-leading product range: the Aqua-Tank Pre-Cast Concrete Tank for the water and wastewater treatments industry in the UK.

Aqua-Tank provides a safe, cost effective method of containment with numerous applications within the water, wastewater and industrial sectors.

Guaranteed factory controlled quality combined with a robust structure and tried and tested design principals, offer life expectancy previously only achieved with cast in-situ installations.

Post-tensioned pre-cast tanks have been a commercially viable alternative to a certain selection of in-situ concrete structures for over 30 years. Following a period of extensive product development, Aqua-Tank was one of the first to locate the post tensioning tendons within the pre-cast panel and was the first system to incorporate the no maintenance EPDM rubber jointing gasket.

Benefits of choosing a pre-cast tank system are many: cost effective with off-site manufacture and fast installation times possible in any weather conditions, rugged construction resulting in over 40 years design life, optimum storage capabilities ranging from 50m³ to 12,500m³, minimum maintenance and health and safety standardised construction methods to name a few.
