Kingswood Homes has been shortlisted in the Affordable Housing category at the Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards 2026 for Horden Meadow at Green Hills.
The Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards celebrate excellence in residential development across the region, recognising developers who demonstrate outstanding commitment to quality, innovation and community impact.
Horden Meadow at Green Hills represents a partnership between Kingswood Homes and Together Housing, delivering high-quality affordable homes through shared ownership.
Located at Green Hills in Feniscowles, the development forms part of a thriving community where over 250 homeowners have already made their home. Green Hills features nine distinct areas of open space, equivalent to four full-size football pitches, with stunning views of the Pennine Moors.
James Brown, architectural director of Kingswood Homes, said: “We are thrilled to have been shortlisted in the affordable housing category at these awards.
"This recognition demonstrates our dedication to providing high-quality homes that are ‘tenure blind,’ meaning there is no visual difference between shared ownership, affordable rent, and open market properties. This creates integrated communities where all residents feel welcome.
“Affordable housing and inclusivity are at the heart of what we do.
"Through our partnership with Together Housing and our innovative approach to homebuilding, we’re committed to addressing the housing needs of diverse communities while maintaining the quality and specification our customers expect from Kingswood."
The Cowgills North West Homebuilder Awards bring together leading developers, architects, contractors and suppliers to celebrate the best new homes and developments across the region.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony later this year.
