Kelmore strengthens laboratory team with strategic appointments

A new Chorley manufacturer specialising in high performance solutions for the flooring and tiling industries, has announced two significant additions to its laboratory team. 

Alistair Sharp joined Kelmore in August to head up the research and development team as R&D manager, while Usman Rasul started in October as senior development chemist.

Both Alistair and Usman bring a wealth of industry experience and expertise, adding huge value to Kelmore’s capabilities in product innovation, technical excellence and quality assurance.

These new roles come at an exciting time for Kelmore.

Founded in 2020, the family business launched its products to market in February 2024 which have received an exceptional welcome with customers and end users alike.

Since then, the company has achieved impressive month-on-month growth, with its team now exceeding 45 members across production, engineering, R&D, operations, customer services, sales, marketing, and accounts.
