Chorley-based public relations agency, Kara Rose PR has been shortlisted in the ‘Best PR Agency’ category at the prestigious Lancashire Business Awards.

This will be the fourth award nomination for the company this year, having already been announced as a finalist in three categories at the coveted CIPR North West PRide awards, which are run by the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

Managing director Kara Rose said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have been shortlisted in the Lancashire Business Awards and feel proud to be recognised alongside other well respected agencies from our county.

“The past year has seen some immensely exciting milestones for us not least our rebrand and new addition to the team but also having the honour as the only Lancashire public relations agency to be shortlisted in the CIPR North West PRide awards too. With a healthy haul of new businesses wins under our belt, we are incredibly excited about the direction in which the business is going, that’s for sure!”

Chief executive of Downtown in Business, Frank McKenna, said: “Each year we proudly recognise the hard work and dedication of the region’s best businesses; these awards are always very competitive and it’s great to see so many participants.”

The Lancashire Business Awards also incorporates a small percentage of public nomination with its stringent round of judging to choose the winner and people can log on to vote at www.downtownpreston.com

The winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony held at Stanley House Hotel on 7th November.

The company which is headed by Kara Rose, is a full service public relations agency, with business to business and consumer clients across the UK covering a broad range of sectors, including QMH Hotels, Lancashire County Council, Specialised Cleaning Services, Real Results Training and Camp Hill Estate. The agency covers all disciplines including the highly specialist area of Crisis and Reputation Management. For more information, please visit www.kararosepr.co.uk
